Welcome to Grammy Pics!
I got my first DSLR in 2008, but photography didn't really become a serious hobby until our first granddaughter was born in 2009. Since then, photographing babies at every stage from maternity through childhood has become my delight. I've photographed and shared monthly portraits of the first year of our now 4 grandchildren on my personal photography blog, Grammy Pics. As my photography has grown right alongside the grandkids, I've started getting requests from friends and acquaintances about doing pictures of their children and grandchildren. With the advent of Grammy Pics for you I've decided to start saying, "Yes!"
I still consider myself a photographer-in-training, but if you like what you see in these pages enough that you would like me to photograph your favorite little ones, I would be happy to have that opportunity. The prices shown on the Pricing page reflect the fact that I am still in what other photographers would consider a "portfolio building" stage. If I do decide to pursue professional baby photography more seriously at some point, these prices will more than triple to match competitive rates for baby photography.
